TRADE AND INDUSTRIAL REFINING SERVICES
We bring our expertise and precision to the refining of many types of precious metals byproducts and precious metal bearing material. We service and process many types of material from jewelry, related industries and other industrial sources as well as small mining operations. All material we receive is handled with an unequaled degree of personal attention. Our ethos is to understand and meet your needs whether they are extremely small or large with a degree of expertise, precision, accommodation and advocacy of your interests that is unequalled. In the information that is included in this refining section, you will find detailed information on the charges and terms for the refining of many common types of material containing precious metals. However, do not hesitate to contact us during normal New York business hours at 1800-543-3420 or 212-840-3286 or any time at This email address is being protected from spambots. XRF OPTION
On smaller lots it is more economical to settle after melt on XRF analysis instead of full assay. This is the general procedure we will follow unless otherwise directed by you. When the XRF option is used, the major platinum component will be accounted for at 2% less than by full assay, minor elements of mid-range (generally between 10 - 25%) accounted for at 15% less than by full assay, minor elements of low concentration (between 2 - 10%) accounted for at 30% less than via full assay, and minor elements of very low concentration (under 2%) are accounted for at 40% less than via full assay, <1% not accountable.

Notes:

<10.00 oz t. $150 - Flat charge if assayed for Pt only. Additional charged apply for additional elements

10.00+ oz t. $400 - Includes one hour of processing. Should the difficulty of the material necessitate additional time, there will be an additional charge of $125 x the number of hours in excess of the first hour.

25.00+ oz t. $300 - Includes one hour of processing. Should the difficulty of the material necessitate additional time, there will be an additional charge of $125 x the number of hours in excess of the first hour.

Additional melt charge: $2 per oz.t, for each oz.t in excess of 50 oz.t.

2) Assay charges: $150 1st element, $100 each additional element
3) Advances: before sale of metal: prime + 4%
4) Advances: after sale of metal: current lease rate + 2%
5) Purchase: Pt & Pd, 2nd fix - $5 oz t; other metals at variable discounts.
6) Metal return: Pt, $15 per oz t.; other metals at variable discounts.
7) All Platinum refining lots subject to a minimum 0.15oz t deduction all metals.
8) Settlement time for Platinum sweeps lots is 12 weeks from the start of processing.
