 XRF Option

On smaller lots it is more economical to settle after melt on XRF analysis instead of full assay. This is the general procedure we will follow unless otherwise directed by you. When the XRF option is used, the minor element components reading between 10 - 25% will be accounted for at 20% less than by full assay; minor elements  reading between  2.5% - 10% will be accounted for at 40% less than full assay: minor elements reading between 1 - 2.5% will be accounted for at 50% less than full assay; no accountability for minor elements <1.

Metal Return

1) For Fine Silver metal returns (0.999+ grain) charge of $0.50 / oz. t.

Notes on Excessive Preparation and/or Processing:
1) Sometimes material requires excessive preparation before normal processing (such as burn-out, demagnetization, milling,
screening, removal of extraneous material, etc.). These services will result in an extra charge on a case-by-case basis, but usual $50 per hour.
2) Sometimes material requires more than one melt to obtain a heterogeneous sample in which case additional melts incur an
additional $25 charge each.
3) Sometimes additional material and/or compounds must be added to obtain a heterogeneous melt and may result in extra
charges.
